Lake Of The Ozarks

Bagnell Dam was completed in May, 1931, forming the largest man-made lake in the world at that time. It formed the "Lake of the Ozarks" that is 92 miles long and has 1,150 miles of meandering shoreline. Camdenton is near the western edge of the lake on the Niangua arm.
The lake provides residents and vacationers alike the opportunity to enjoy many water sports, including skiing, fishing (bass, crappie, catfish), boating, riding of personal water craft, and swimming.
The lake draws over 3 million people annually who enjoy the beautiful outdoor activities available in the area.
