Water/Sewer Connection Fees:
SECTION 700.260: WATER HOOKUPS AND FEES
It shall be unlawful for any person other than a City of Camdenton employee to tap onto any City water line unless said person shall be authorized in writing by the Board of Aldermen.
SECTION 700.090: SEWER PERMIT FEES
All costs and expense incident to the installation and connection of the building sewer shall be borne by the owner. The owner shall indemnify the City from any loss or damage that may directly or indirectly be occasioned by the installation of the building sewer. A separate and independent building sewer connection shall be provided for every building, except as approved by the Director of Public Works.

Water and sewer customers shall be billed monthly. Billings for any particular cycles shall be made within thirty (30) days after the end of the billing cycle. Payments are due when the billings are made and shall be considered delinquent if not paid by the last day of the month of the billing.
A late payment penalty in the amount of 10% of the user charge bill will be added to each delinquent bill for each calendar month the bill remains unpaid.
SECTION 700.270 RECONNECTION FEE FOR DELINQUENT WATER BILLS:
If water bills remain unpaid by 9:00 AM on the 10th day of the following month service will be disconnected and a fee of $25.00 for the first time in a 12-month period; a fee of $50.00 for the second time in a 12-month period; a fee of $100.00 for the third and subsequent times in a 12-month period must be paid before service can be reconnected during normal duty hours of the Water Department. After normal duty hours and on weekends a fee of $100.00 plus the reconnect fee as stated above must be paid before service can be reconnected.
SECTION 700.285 WATER LEAKS:
Failure to repair a leak within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Director of Public Works will result in the water being shut off until the leak is repaired. Large leaks will require immediate shut off and repair.
